(I got bit by a piranha once - a friend had some in an aquarium and we were feeding it little bits of raw hamburger and one of them nipped my index finger - I still have a small hook-shaped scar. Vicious buggers.)
i agree with you on the iguana bit. bearded dragons (like mah baby) have been called "the dog of the lizard world" and i have to agree. i have owned several. they are very social, like to be handled, and have wonderful personalities. i had one that would even snuggle up to you to sleep. would an iguana do that?
i want a big tortoise. or pirahnas.

I had a caiman for years, then an iguana. My conclusion? Reptiles aren't meant to be pets as people tend to think of pets. That's just me, though. =)
